Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 15, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 5 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-acuity ICU position requiring a FL or Compact RN license and AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. Details - Position is in a high-acuity 30-bed ICU (CCU) unit - Patient population includes neurosurgery, open heart, TAVR, septic shock, CRRT, Impella, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, pacemakers, advanced drip titration, chest tubes, and DKA - Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15 - Every other weekend and Easter holiday coverage required - 36 or 48 hour contracts are available Requirements - Active FL or Compact RN license required and current Nursys verification - Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required - American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required - NIH Stroke Scale certification required - CVICU experience highly preferred - Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address - Copies of Driver’s License, skills checklist, and two separate references required - License verification and all required documentation must be provided within 30 days before start date Additional Information - Role involves caring for complex patient conditions and working with advanced cardiac technologies - Extension conversations should be initiated at least 45 days prior to contract end date - COVID-19 vaccine is no longer required for this position - Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on distance - This is an auto-offer position with streamlined placement process - Specific radius rules apply for local pay rates and eligibility American Traveler Job ID P-672924.
