Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Bariatrics to
join our faith-based healthcare team. As part of our network, you
will contribute to our mission of innovating healthcare and
providing compassionate, personalized care to our patients. This
position involves specialized care for patients undergoing
bariatric surgery and requires a compassionate approach and a keen
understanding of the specific needs and treatments associated with
obesity management and surgery. Provide pre- and post-operative
care for bariatric surgery patients. Educate patients and their
families on lifestyle changes and healthcare management before and
after surgery. Monitor patient progress and respond to any
complications. Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and
healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
Maintain comprehensive patient records and adhere to all safety and
privacy regulations. Strong understanding of bariatric patient care
and protocols. Excellent communication and patient education
ability. Proficiency in handling medical equipment required for
bariatric care and surgeries. Ability to work effectively in a
team-oriented healthcare environment. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered
Nurse (RN) license. Certification in Bariatric Nursing (CBN)
preferred.
