The pavilion will include 30 medical and surgical rooms and 30 intensive care rooms, but will primarily be used for heart and vascular needs, including two nursing units devoted to caring for patients who undergo open-heart surgeries and other cardiovascular procedures. The pavilion is set to open in the fall of 2019. What You Will Do In this role, you will provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Key Responsibilities: + Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. + Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. + Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. + Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. What You Will Need Licenses/Certifications/Registration: + Required Credential(s): + BLS Providercredentialed from theAmerican Heart Association (AHA)obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. + Registered Nursecredentialed from theFlorida Board of Nursingobtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. + Preferred Credential(s): + Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. ACLS replaces the BLS. + Finger Printing.
