Job Description:

Located in Crescent Beach just north of the Fort Matanzas National Monument, The Commander's Shellfish Camp is a unique family-owned and operated seafood restaurant and food trailer serving steamed and shucked farm-raised clams, fresh Atlantic salmon, shrimp, oysters, crab legs, fresh catch, and more. We sustainably farm our own clams on-site, so our guests know they are local and fresh! Our restaurant is looking for experienced line cooks to join our team and prepare amazing food for our guests. Duties will include prepping meals by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, cooking meals, checking ingredients for freshness, and arranging and garnishing the dishes. You will also helping keep the kitchen properly cleaned. To succeed in this role, you must be skilled at being a team player. Responsibilities: Prepare delicious meals for our customers. Weigh, measure, mix, and prep ingredients according to recipes. Steam, grill, bake or fry meats, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients. Check food and ingredients for freshness. Arrange and garnish dishes. Work well under pressure and within the time limit. Ensure that kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned. Requirements: Food handler certification is required. Working experience in seafood preparation. Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, etc. Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment.
