Job Description:

Position Summary:

Order management process of orders based on specific account portfolio, from order entry to post shipment support. Communicate effectively with distribution and sales teams regarding inventory issue and support resolution with the customer. Deliver highest standard of customer service on all tasks performed.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Receive and respond to inquiries from customers, sales groups and/or internal operational groups with professionalism ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of requests.
  • Process all orders for assigned accounts, manual or electronically received, within the assigned time parameters ensuring order accuracy. Provide support for all necessary order changes necessary to ship on time.
  • Resolve any order related issues, including but not limited to EDI, pricing, shipping, returns and invoicing. Act as main liaison for the customer until the issue has been resolved.
  • Maintain processes and documentation updated and in accordance with department overall SOP including outlining all customer specific data and department process practices.
  • Establish and maintain effective work relationships with department as well with cross functional teams within the organization.
  • Process credit notes and bill only packets within the assigned turnaround time.
  • Support Company Audits as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of customer specific requirements for shipments to proactively avoid any potential roadblocks and meet OTD for the customer.
  • Cross train and provide backup for other team members to cover during vacations or time off.
  • Perform other individual assignments as assigned by management.
    Education and Experience Requirements:

    Associates degree plus up to three years related experience in a consumer-packaged goods environment. Order management experience with ERP systems highly preferred.

    Skills Required:

    Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively. Strong organizational skills complete tasks with a sense of urgency. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Must have a command of the English language. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be PC literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Able to work in a Teamwork environment.

    Monday- Friday
    7:30am- 3:30pm
