Opportunity:The Analytic Field Trainer partners with Training and
Development, Roche Support Network, Implementation Planning and
Support, and Sales management to identify key accounts and needs to
deploy targeted training for laboratory staff before and after
go-live. Acting as the field training subject matter expert for
systems and complete customer solutions in support of Roche product
portfolios (i.e. chemistry, immunology, IT solutions), creating
training plans, and providing training support to customers. The
position requires specialized knowledge, independent judgment, and
the ability to adapt procedures to meet Customer requirements. The
Analytical Field Trainer will Conduct Customer Training: Train key
operators on Roche solutions, including equipment, applications,
and IT products primarily on-site. Develop Training Plans:
Collaborate with leadership to create educational goals and
technical specifications, ensuring programs are relevant and
business-focused. Provide Technical Expertise: Support pre- and
post-sales activities, using in-depth product knowledge to meet
customer needs and resolve issues. Maintain Training Standards:
Ensure consistency in training execution and share best practices
with the Training and Development team. Support Commercial
Activities: Promote Roche solutions, identify new opportunities,
and provide leads to the sales team. Maintain and continuously
improve the quality system and achieve quality objectives through
daily actions.Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Customer Training:Conducts tailored training for Roche
solutions, including equipment, applications, IT products, and
systems. Provides on-site training and re-training as needed.
- Collaboration and Curriculum Development: Works with leadership
to set educational goals and technical specifications. Partners
with management and technical resources to ensure relevant
programs. Develops and evaluates training needs, creating a
comprehensive curriculum.
- Training Design and Feedback: Designs training activities,
gathers feedback from customers and field teams, and provides
recommendations to managers to inform product development
initiatives. Maintain feedback, look to Training & Development
peers to enhance employee and customer training curriculums.
- Pre and Post-Go Live Training Support: Offers expertise during
installation, implementation, and maintenance of solutions.
Assesses customer needs and provides technical support to
commercial staff and customers. Ensures training meets customer
requirements.
- Customer Relations: Acts as a liaison and technical expert,
resolving complex issues. Maintains positive relationships with
customers, sets training requirements, and promotes Roche. Ensures
training standards are consistent and shares best practices.
- Quality Standards: Maintain and continuously improve the
quality system and achieve quality objectives through daily
actions. Maintain Training Standards by ensuring consistency in
training execution and share best practices with the Training and
Development team.Location/Travel: This is a field-based role and
the territory is Florida. The primary focus is Florida and the
ideal candidate to live within the greater Orlando area.Overnight
travel requirements are estimated up to 30-40% as needed and may
include travel to Indianapolis headquarters or within other
territories as needed. Must be willing and able to travel overnight
for up to 4-6 weeks at a time outside of the immediate area.Who You
Are:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent
education and work experience
- 5 years of progressive experience within the diagnostics
industry or other relevant progressive experience
- Advanced knowledge in an area of specialty as demonstrated
through an advanced degree and/or in-depth technical experience in
the support of laboratory clinical chemistry, immunology,
information technology, molecular, tissue and/or automation
systemsPreferred Qualifications:
- Specialist experience in Field Installation: training,
installing, and evaluating complex laboratory, IT products, medical
diagnostic equipment, reagents and/or systems.
- Previous experience as a Medical Technologist (ASCP), or
experience with analytical chemistry and immunology platforms or IT
experience in a clinical environment (i.e. clinical laboratory,
hospital, medical device manufacturing, pharmaceutical,
military).
- Ability to learn Roche solutions (i.e. chemistry, immunology,
molecular, life sciences, IT solutions,), understanding of quality
system regulations and ISO standards and stay current with industry
trends.
- Experience with curriculum development, course design, and
training effectiveness and strong knowledge of training practices,
principles and methods.
- Ability to work as a field-based individual contributor with
independence and autonomy with strong customer consultative skills
and ability to travel approximately 30-40%.Additional Information:

salary range for this position based on the primary location of
Florida is $91,100 - $169,100. Actual pay will be determined based
on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other
job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus
may be available based on individual and Company performance. This
