The Vice President of Human Resources will continue to strengthen the overall employee culture, drive change management at all levels throughout our organization, and leverage data and analytics for insight into trends on employee engagement, turnover, opportunities to enhance performance, retention, and satisfaction. The Vice President of Human Resources will exhibit effective leadership skills that encourage living our Purpose and Values while acting as One Team. Business Partnering * Partner with business leaders in the development and formulation of long and short-term organizational effectiveness strategies that translate into achieving results through consultative and unique solutions to a wide variety of people related opportunities. * Work with leadership teams to drive the cultural shifts needed to achieve top priorities. * Foster and maintain an environment of partnership across the organization to more urgently identify and effectively address opportunities for greater efficiency, agility, and standardization. Leadership * Provide leadership and direction to ensure all Human Resources processes are consistent with company purpose, values, and policies. * Serve as a catalyst for the organization on HR process, programs, and policies; applying broad knowledge of employment, payroll, compensation, benefits, associate relations, training, and performance management to ensure compliance with HR policy and external regulations. * Identify competitive strategies and evaluate, adjust, or redraft the organization s Human Resources programs accordingly ensuring thorough communication to the team and organization. * Lead, inspire, develop, and set direction for the team. * Coach leaders to exemplify behaviors that inspire our associates and loyalty. * Establish and foster an optimistic, inclusive, and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity and innovation. * Maintain and establish high performance standards across all Human Resource functions. * Foster a culture of providing valuable feedback through the Quarterly Performance Check-In process. Operational * Develop strategies to strengthen the company's ability to recruit and retain top talent; ensuring all staffing decisions are made with consistent high standards; establish and maintain college recruitment. * Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices, understanding the current landscape and promote the continuous review of activities within Human Resources. * Accountable for integration of Human Resources best practices across the organization leading to optimal candidate, employee, and customer experience. * Support development, documentation, and training best practices in all areas of the organization. Customer Service * Exhibit a positive and helpful attitude when interacting with internal customers, business partners, and associates. * Education and Experience: A Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources or related field, Master s Degree preferred. 15+ years experience including managing a Human Resources function and leading a wide variety of Human Resources initiatives. PHR or SPHR Certification desirable. * Technical Skills: Broad knowledge of all Human Resources functions and technologies. A proven background in strategic planning and execution, Human Resources principles and regulations, and the ability to negotiate and manage outsourced providers for effective plan oversight. A high level of computer skills to include Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, reporting, and email applications. Expert knowledge of HR Systems, Infor/AS400/Infinium experience a plus. Demonstrated time and project management skills. The ability to research and analyze large amounts of data. * Behavioral Attributes: Innovative, creative team player with extensive internal and external customer focus. Excellent interpersonal skills. Flexible and results-oriented, with a focus on results. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Strong analytical, presentation, problem-solving and decision making skills. Proven ability to manage and coach associates, and to assume a leadership role. High energy and effective assertiveness with the ability to influence others.
