Job Description:

I am currently seeking a Data Analyst / Programmer.

The successful candidate will have experience using the complete Microsoft Office stack and can demonstrate reasonable mastery of SQL. E-Commerce background is preferred.

? Experience with Microsoft Access and Excel

?Experience with Quest Toad applications

Education: 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience in SQL/PL

Experience: 2-4 years of recent experience as a DATA ANALYST as well as experience programming on enterprise or department servers or systems Knowledge/Skills: Detailed knowledge of procedures, utilities, program scripts, and excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Knowledge & Skills:

? Optional right now but preferred: Experience with retail or E-Commerce Industry including requirements gathering and/or systems analysis a plus

? Experience in a database development environment with one the following: Transact-SQL or PL/SQL

? Independent, resourceful and self-motivated. Strong analytical skills.

? Business intelligence, analytics or big data experience a plus.

? Demonstrated analysis and data-driven problem solving skills

? Oracle 10g or later

? In-depth knowledge of database design and planning.

? Data mining in a Star schema data warehouse with some experience in assisting statisticians to mine data for models.
