The Senior Network Engineers role is to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house voice and data network services while following industry best practices. This is achieved by designing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring the local and wide area networks across the organization. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree that emphasizes math, business or computer science with 3 years PC support experience and 5 years network support
• Associates Degree with 5 years PC & network support experience,
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Thorough knowledge of local and wide area networking technologies, protocols and equipment as well as network security and business continuity
• Thorough knowledge of On Premises and Hosted PBX telephony technologies
• Thorough knowledge of wireless technologies
• Understanding of cloud environments
• Exemplary customer service skills
• Leadership and/or Project Management
• Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices. Desired:
  • Server +, Network +, Security + and/or CCNA preferred Responsibilities:
    • Provide hardware trouble-shooting support & coordinate with hardware or network support resources as problems are reported through the Help Desk and as assigned by manager.
    • Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex network problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective hardware and software solutions, including off-site repair
    • Demonstrate strong project management skills by managing projects and delegating tasks
    • Evaluate, recommend, plan, and implement network improvements, upgrades, and repairs
    • Participate with Network Administrator to do on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of network problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective hardware and software solutions
    • Assist in system improvements by conferring with users regarding system enhancements and determining hardware specifications for these requests
    • Lead in the identification, mitigation and remediation of network related security and compliance gaps as identified by internal and external audits.
