Reports To:. Chief Operating Officer, MROH. Position Summary.
The General Manager provides onsite direction relating to short and
long-term goals and objectives set by the corporate business
strategy of MRO Holdings (MROH). Provides oversight, including as
the Accountable Executive, to the direction and control of the
Flightstar Aircraft Services Repair Station operations and
administration in order to achieve established companywide goals
and objectives. Represents the company to its senior leadership,
employees, customers, investors, and the public in general in a
manner fully aligned with MROH strategic vision and values.. Job
Duties and Responsibilities. 1. Establish goals and objectives that
support short-term objectives and long-term plans. The goals and
objectives may be expressed in terms of safety, quality,
turn-around-time, customer service, EBITDA, revenue, capacity
management, reliability of scheduling, mechanic utilization, and
other performance factors as MROH determines appropriate given the
state of the business. 2. Assess, procure and manage the resources
(capital and disbursements, staffing, skill levels, materials,
facilities, etc.) required to run a sustainable business.. 3.
Develop a high-performance team at all levels in the organization.
Foster a culture that positively contributes to the development and
satisfaction of employees while meeting objectives.. 4. Ensure the
appropriate distribution of workload amongst direct reports to
ensure optimal results for the area, as well as maintaining
adequate internal information systems that allow the identification
of needs, or lack of resources necessary for the optimum
performance of their duties.. 5. Ensure that activities for which
the Repair Station is rated are performed in accordance with the
current Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), manufacturers’
recommendations, company policies, Repair Station Manual (RSM), any
current industry standards acceptable to the administrator (FAA)
and other regulatory agencies which may have oversight of the
facility.. 6. Implement and ensure personal and employee adherence
to corporate policies and guidelines that are established.
Recognize the relatively new formation of the MROH group of
operating companies and use prudent judgement in exercising
authority in areas where guidelines are not yet established.. 7.
Represent the company and negotiate with private organizations and
government affairs impacting operations.. 8. Ensure that operating
procedures are in compliance with laws, regulations, airworthiness
directives, and safety standards.. Decisions made by this role that
DO NOT require approval. (This does not bypass need for
communication). 1. Establish guidelines for the facility that are
consistent with existing MROH policies and guidelines.. 2. Support
and approve programs to achieve fiscal year financial and operating
goals.. 3. Day to day decisions of the business required to manage
scheduled progress on aircraft maintenance, employee utilization,
employee safety, customer satisfaction and service quality.. 4.
Decisions directly stated within the latest version of MROH
authority limits as approved by the MROH executive committee..
Decisions that will require approval.. 1. Decisions that
drastically affect the direction of the company.. 2. Decisions
outside the limits of the latest version of MROH authority limits
as approved by the MROH executive committee.. 3. Annual budget
including financial objectives and operational metrics.. Key

Qualifications. Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical or related field;
or equivalent background providing knowledge of appropriate
business and technical principles, procedures and management
techniques. Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business

Previous Experience. Minimum fifteen (15) years of aircraft MRO,
engine MRO or related airline experience; including at least ten
(10) years in a leadership capacity. Have a proven track record of
hiring and mentoring high performing teams, providing knowledge of
FAA regulations and requirements, and driving results through
