Job Description:

This position will be using automated reports to determine if logbooks and inspection forms for commercial motor vehicles are being completed timely and accurately. Creating reports showing compliance and issues. Attending meetings to explain errors that are being submitted and helping to resolve the problems. Some will view this as a predominantly clerical role. This is a new function in the organization and the candidate will have some flexibility in designing the work flow.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High School Graduate or equivalent. Must have a minimum of three years demos ratable experience in Motor Vehicle registration and processes with legal documents and other state-required DMV documents. Individual must possess some knowledge of Motor Carrier Compliance procedures and policies. Must demonstrate good oral and written communication, along with presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external points of contact regardless of their status or position; and possess the capacity to express ideas clearly in the writing of assorted memos, letters, and reports. Individual must also be organized with handling files and maintaining documents, ability to follow tasks through to completion and detailed oriented. Individual must be knowledge and with the ability to use personal computers including Access database programming, Spreadsheet Computations, Word processing, Power Point and AS400 Mainframe capabilities
