Ascension St Vincent's is looking for a RN to join our Riverside Hospital team!

RN Progressive Care Department - Riverside Hospital - Jacksonville Florida

Schedule: Full Time Nights 7pm-7am

 Join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nurses at St. Vincent’s Riverside! The PCU is an exciting and fast paced unit where nurses work closely with the Intensivist and Interdisciplinary Team to manage and stabilize complicated patients with diverse illnesses on cardiac drips, and high level O2 management including stable trached ventilators. Our PCU is a 13-bed unit with 3:1 - 4:1 patient ratios. Being a St. Vincent’s PCU nurse, opens the door to a career path in critical care for medical, cardiac, and open-heart specialty units!

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. 
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
