About the team The Strategy and Transformation (S&T) team is part of the FIS Global Technology Development (Software Engineering) organization and is charged with supporting our businesses and functions in driving innovation, collaboration and efficiency. The team leads the delivery of large scale projects that support business growth activities, foster continuous process improvement, launch new capabilities and implement new emerging technologies.We broadly engage with the Leadership Team and employee community to drive transformational change -- which includes leading our enterprise Agile Transformation. The engagement arm of the strategy team is a key enabler function for us. The team is accountable for all communication, events, talent programs, innovation programs and engagement with our employee community. The team is crucial group of change agents focused on effectively communication, education and empowering the organization to effectively navigate a world full of continuous change. What you will be doing We are seeking someone who can help drive a cultural transformation within our engineering group, focused on effective communication, innovation and continuous improvement. The Engagement Manager will be a strong communicator that with develop and launch our annual communication and event plan. This manager will be comfortable working with different teams at various levels of a business and have excellent organization skills. The Engagement Manager will proactively assess the engineering workforce--s needs, define/identify requirements, and develop cohesive projects that improve the working experience here at FIS. This job involves analyzing business data to assess situations, assigning tasks to team members, and problem-solving.

  • Develop unique and new methods to communicate with and engage our engineering community
  • Plan and organize regular events which encourage two-way dialogue between management and employees, as well as colleagues in different teams to encourage knowledge sharing.
  • Conducting research and analyses of communication effectiveness, branding, marketing and workplace interactions in our new remote/digital environment
  • Leads and participates in employee engagements and prepares clear, concise and accurate reports of findings and recommendations.
  • Planning, implementing and managing proposed recommendations and projects. Intellectual curiosity, inclination for independent and self-directed work, and attention to detail are a major plus
  • Supporting and guiding senior executive decision-making processes.
  • Identify resources required for project completion.
  • Review and determine strengths, weaknesses, operational effectiveness and opportunities. Make recommendations based on internal and external factors to minimize risks and formulate plans to achieve an organization's long-term goals. What you bring
    • Proven experience with management of enterprise communications, marketing, branding and event management (5-10+ years)
    • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, illustrative, data visualization, and presentation. Flexibility to interact with internal business customers, technical peers, management, and vendors on diverse topics.
    • Project management, productivity, planning, and workload management skills
    • Management skills to develop and manage relations between teams at multiple levels of a company
    • Organization skills to multitask and organize both your time and the schedule of the project, as you will often work on various projects and with multiple people at once. Strong organization skills are a must to ensure that all tasks are completed to the appropriate deadline
    • Excellent analysis and problem-solving capabilities; uses innovative thinking to identify new/different solutions; looks beyond immediate problem for wider implications and determines best path forward
    • You will have the ability to scale and drive outcomes across a large part of our organization (working with partner orgs like product, line of business, etc).
    • Ability to conceptualize business issues and derivers, formulate hypotheses, gather results, analyze data and make appropriate recommendations for change What we offer you
