SUMMARY OF POSITION:The primary role of the Helpdesk Coordinator is to organize the Helpdesk requests, staff and ensure end users are receiving the appropriate assistance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Monitor open tickets and ensure timely assignment and resolutionMonitor tickets to ensure documentation is properly included for ticket resolutionAssist with organizing equipment purchases to ensure adequate materials are available for users.Assist with compliance of company ITGC policies related to Helpdesk duties.Manage the processing of incoming calls to the Help Desk via both telephone and e-mail to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end user issuesTrack and analyze trends in Help Desk requests and generate statistical reports.Effectively communicate and work with employees, internal divisions and external customers.Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGERelated work experience. Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbalStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skills and time management skillsAbility to establish and maintain strong relationship WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment is representative of an office/field settingThe noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderateReasonable accommodations can be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the described essential functions of the job.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear.
