General Description / Primary Purpose
The Development Associate supports the fundraising activities of the Development Department by providing a broad range of administrative support, including assisting with maintaining data quality of the fundraising database RE NXT, producing standard reports, helping with donor stewardship, and assisting Directors of Development and Assistant Directors of Development with the gift acceptance and acknowledgment process.


Essential Duties

Job Function
- Supports assigned Directors and Assistant Directors of Development, including calendar and contact management.
- Manages priorities and anticipating contingencies. Including but not limited to; scheduling meetings, reserving meeting spaces, coordinating conference calls and donor visits, as well as executing events
- Assists with expense reports
- Keeps minutes, memos, letters, reports and other documents for internal and external circulation.
- Responsible for contact report entry.
- Maintains filing and organization.
- Assist with Gift Agreements as needed.
- Assists Development Team with tasks and projects as needed.
- Occasional evening and weekend work to assist with fundraising event maybe required.
- All other duties as assigned.

High school diploma and four years of experience directly related to the job functions. Directly related college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
