Elementary MinisterObjectiveThe Elementary Minister is responsible for leading alongside the Kids Minister at a specific campus by equipping and developing Serve Staff to execute kids service gatherings for kids kindergarten to fifth grade and partnering with parents to be the primary disciple-makers of their kids.Key Responsibilities Lead in the recruitment, coaching, equipping, and care of apprentices, interns and serve staff Execute Elementary Weekend Services/ministry eventsCommunicating and providing curriculum to serve staffEnsuring classrooms are prepared for kids to be discipledPreparing registration for families to check inLead huddle to cast vision and expectationsLead and develop staff, apprentices, interns, serve staff leaders and teams who report to you.Model discipleship by making disciple-making disciples.Build a community and create a sense of belonging for Serve Staff.Manage Kids budget for your campus Control inventory of supplies and other needs in ministry area at specific campus.Partner with parents in raising their children to know Jesus & make him known by creating opportunities for them to learn and grow in their discipleship.Communicate clear vision & wins for staff and serve staff teams on a regular basisOversee systems for background checks, safety and security procedures, training, and care of serve staffProvide staff and serve staff with current childrens ministry best practicesProvide monthly and yearly updated trainings for your teamCompetencies Model the Church of Eleven22s mission, vision, and core valuesAbility to maintain strict confidentiality Ability to adapt to changeStrong proactive communication skillsAbility to develop priorities with the right balance of short and long-term winsDemonstrated ability to build effective organizational relationships/partnershipsStrong leadership abilities; sound judgment and above reproach characterDemonstrated ability to teach & shepherd serve staff members and their familiesStrong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelAbility to work with database information Education & ExperienceBachelors Degree requiredExperience working with children in multiple settingsExpectation to pursue ministry licensing Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkDays and hours would be based on the needs and events at the church but will usually be a Sunday-Thursday schedule.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical DemandsThis role would require long periods of being on your feet and walking.
