This is someone who has worked on many projects, possibly several companies, and helped deliver software successfully over many years. This person not only works inside of a team, but they also help guide teams.This person is knowledgeable across many layers of software. They understand the intricacies of large complex systems, how to build them, how to tune them, and how to troubleshoot them.This developer is now capable of taking on the brunt of designing major features and products on their own. They may still interact with other senior peers or architects for determining alignment and understanding of outside factors, but they can carry a design from beginning to end. They can own the delivery of a project and guide others to a conclusion in the best interest of the business/product.This developer leads interactions in their team. They are a technical conduit for interactions outside of their team with senior developers in other teams.This person has built professional soft skills necessary to communicate effectively through multiple layers of anorganization.
