The P-8 Training Systems team, part of Government Training Engineering, is currently seeking an Associate-level or Mid-level Systems Engineer for its Hazelwood, MO, Orlando, FL, or Jacksonville, FL location. P-8 Training Systems is responsible for hardware and software design, development, build, delivery, and integration of flight training solutions to the warfighter. The flight simulators, staffed stations, and electronic classrooms are high fidelity, tech heavy, fully immersive training machines that allow the warfighter to maintain their mission readiness in their pursuit to defend freedom around the world. The P-8 Poseidon is the anti-surface/submarine warfare aircraft of the future, built on a commercial derivative airframe, and outfitted to protect the waterways of the world. Candidates will belong to a systems engineering team interacting with customers, suppliers, program management, integration, and test engineers.
T his program provides a wide variety of opportunities for career growth in engineering, leadership, and direct customer interactions. The selected candidate will be a member of a geographically dispersed, high-performing, collaborative team, and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, excellent time-management, and interpersonal skills. This team operates in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to support all aspects of product development. The applicant will be encouraged to actively help the team to continuously improve and develop innovative and creative solutions to products and processes and to mentor the team in systems engineering and integration best practices.

This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range for associate level: $81,600 - 110,400
Summary pay range for mid-level: $97,750 - 132,250
