Adjusting firm located in Jacksonville, FL is looking for temp to hire inside property adjusters with either personal or commercial claims experience.In- Office Jacksonville, Fl Inside Desk Adjuster has direct responsibility for homeowners' property insurance claims or commercial lines claims, starting with contacting the insured upon the loss through claims resolution. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSConduct proper investigations, set adequate reserves, and perform expeditious adjustments of property insurance claimsRecommend claim payments to policyholders and claimantsEngage and monitor the work of outside vendors contributing to the claims adjustment processNegotiate disposition of claims with insureds and claimants or their legal representatives while recognizing and implementing alternative means of resolutionREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCEXactimate experience highly preferredPossess proven negotiation skills for use with insureds and their representativesHave a positive attitude and the ability to embrace changeEffectively communicate through oral and written communications with all internal and external customers of the claims departmentDiligent use and reliance upon a diary system for systematic tracking and processing of claimsExcellent time management skills with the ability to critically analyze claim files and third-party demandsStrong understanding of policy coveragesStrong negotiation skillsEXPERIENCE1-3 years of Florida homeowners' property and casualty insurance claims processing experienceLICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS5-20 or 6-20 Florida Adjuster's license in good standingPDN-99314f65-a019-4088-8f81-c264f8a60787
