The Vendor Coordinator will work in partnership with the team of Pipeline Specialists, Loan Coordinators and Setup Coordinators The Vendor Coordinator will be responsible for the timely placement of all third party orders and management of receipt of all incoming 3rd party requirements The review for acceptability of title, appraisal, flood, etc. Will coordinate and update system upon receipt Issue resolution of errors or alerts may be required. Task oriented process of making requests for third party information.The Vendor Coordinator 2 will also include high-level review and acknowledgement of information. Essential Functions Perform daily proactive pipeline management to ensure timely orders of all 3rd party requirements. Order appropriate reports and verification per product guidelines and company requirements through appropriate vendors Review reporting to target loans in the pipeline that need follow up and/or special attention. Review and analyze title reports/commitments to ensure compliance with requirements prior to closing Resolve any title related exceptions Monitor Payoffs when received for acceptability Monitor all 3rd party doc orders for timely return, review and address delays and issues Ensure accuracy and acceptability of all 3rd party conditions Communicate effectively with clients, and vendors with licensable parameters. Address inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal staff Notify management of any trends or training/service opportunities While performing the duties of this position, the employee will view, have access to, and work with confidential financial data. The employee in this position must adhere to strict confidentiality policies and procedures Update status in OES for all third party documents within the service level agreements Review received 3rd party documents for minimum acceptability requirements (title, appraisal, payoffs, etc.) Notify Loan Coordinator when appraisals and title are received via work queue Notify Loan Coordinator of any 3rd party challenges that can impact the approvability of the loan via work queue Perform related duties as requested Education: High School Diploma or equivalent BA/BS degree preferred Experience: 5+ years of mortgage or title processing and/or operations experience required Previous industry compliance, fraud and monitoring tools (Mavent, CoreLogic, Interthinks, FHA, VA, DU, and LP) experience preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Communicate and coordinate with other departments in a positive and professional manner Understanding, interpretation and qualification of mortgage documents and products and investor guidelines with the ability to clear conditions - proficient Knowledge of mortgage operations ? proficient Knowledge to obtain corrected documents for discrepancies Demonstrated ability to work with a pleasant, reliable, and responsible approach Interpersonal skills - effective Microsoft Office skills ? intermediate Motivated, self-starter Organizational skills with attention to detail - proficient Proficient in third party systems usage Proven experience working in a fast paced, high volume, customer focused environment Time management and problem solving skills ? proficient Type 35 wpm with no more than 5% error rate Understanding of title, appraisal and payoff documentation and requirements ? basic Verbal and written communication skills ? effective Work as a team member Work under time-driven deadlines Working Conditions Work is performed in climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon office or meeting location. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
