• Analyze malfunctions and repairs,
• Rebuild and maintain construction equipment, such as cranes, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, bulldozers, loaders, pump compressors and pneumatic tools.
• Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Replace defective engines and subassemblies such as transmissions.
• Weld broken parts and structural members.
• Must be able to read and comprehend repair manuals.
• Other related job functions may include, but not limited to:
• Examines parts for damage and/or excessive wear
• Using micrometers and gauges.
• Tests overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiently.
• Use computer to diagnose problemsQualifications
  • Must have at least 5 years experience
  • Knowledge on all types of construction equipment including
    • Loaders, Excavators, Material Handlers, Backhoes, Rollers, and Off Road Trucks
    • Cummins and Isuzu engine knowledge helpful
    • Yanmar engines, a plus
    • Must have computer knowledge
    • Must have own tools
