Business Development RepresentativeWORLDWIDE EXPRESS The largest
non-retail authorized UPS - partner and No. 1 largest privately
held LTL broker in the country!The Business Development
Representative (BDR) is responsible for prospecting in three
geographically defined markets that are strategically aligned with
three Major Account Executives (MAEs). The BDR goal is to identify
opportunities and develop the leads up to, and including, setting
an appointment for the MAE to meet the prospect in person.ESSENTIAL
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact by phone and email with key personnel up to, and
including, C-Level executives
- Self-generate high value leads by collecting business
intelligence and identifying key decision makers
- Qualify inbound marketing sourced leads by collecting business
intelligence and identifying key decision makers
- Work with experienced sales reps to identify and set meetings
with high quality prospects
- Solution selling; effectively present solutions through
cost-benefit analysis
- Present a streamlined technology solution developing a detailed
analysis of customized needs in challenging areas and lanesWHAT WE

- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Proven success in generating/qualifying leads through
prospecting new business with a 'hunter' mentality
- High energy, with a passion for your personal brand and the

environment
- Effective communicator with strong business acumen and
intuition
- Self-starter with strong organization & presentation
skills

- A competitive starting BASE SALARY in the mid 40s!

month ramp up
- Bonus/commission based on 5-week average margin after
ramp!
- Promotion opportunity to BDR 2 in 6-12 months, Account
Executive in 18 - 24 months, sooner based on performance.
