Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES

--- Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
--- Supervise and train maintenance technicians
--- Hire and supervise contractors during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.)
--- Promote and ensure employees/contractors follow safe work practices
--- Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)
--- Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance
--- Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
--- Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance

REQUIREMENTS

Maintenance experience in manufacturing work environments and/or relevant certification in the following areas outlined below:

Five years experience managing building maintenance
--- Five years experience maintaining industrial boilers
--- Three years experience with facility electrical systems
--- Working knowledge and experience with PLCs
--- Experience with facility plumbing service
--- Experience with facility ventilation service
--- Experience with facility refrigeration
--- Experience with a continuous manufacturing process
--- Well organized with a customer-oriented approach
--- Ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines
--- Well versed in Microsoft Suite
--- Strong, professional written and oral communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

--- Able to lift 25 pounds
--- Able to climb ladders
--- Able to walk and stand for six hours
