PENDING CONTRACT AWARDTask Description: Supply Technician
(01410): This position performs limited aspects of technical supply
management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management,
cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or
other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity
area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty,
complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable
or standardized segments of technical supply management operations;
or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in
difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or
supply actions. This work requires consideration of program
requirements together with specific variations in or from
standardized guidelines. Assignments require: (a) a good working
knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies,
nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established
guidelines; (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization
serviced; and (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the
dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data
to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon
application or interpretation of established guidelines.Skills and
Knowledge: The Contractor shall be able to provide technical supply
AMMRL support for Organizational level (O-Level) maintenance
support.Must have a good working knowledge of U.S. Navy policies,
methods, and technical publications.Must be familiar with manual
and automated methods of supply administration.Must have a working
knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies,
nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established
guidelines.Overall knowledge of a complete supply system to include
research, stock control, demand processing, issuing, storage, and
handling of supplies and equipment. Task Requirements: Responsible
for performing the activities associated with the AMMRL
programPerform administrative tasks required to administer AMMRL
programOrder, issue, receive, inventory and properly handle tools
and HAZMAT Coordinates limited aspects of technical supply related
to local supply activitiesResponsible for maintaining material
requirements list, inventories, bench stock (expendable items),
critical items list, receipt, storage and issue records,
coordinates, processes and expedites supply transactionsOrders
parts as defined by Aircraft Mechanics and Navy Technical
ManualsDetermines and forecasts material requirements, and
establishes minimum stock levelsPrepares documentation necessary
for turn-in or repair of repairable componentsAnalyzes to define or
recognize the dimension of problems involved, collects the
necessary data to establish the facts, and takes or recommends
action based upon application or interpretation of established
guidelinesOrder and receive aircraft parts and materialExpedites
repairable and consumable material requisitions through the supply
system and informs maintenance of status changesPerform inspection
of aircraft engine records relevant to determining serviceability
of components and end itemsSupply action documentation via logs,
records, forms, and electronic meansSupply support for complete
engine and engine module tear down and build up, operational check
Supply support for general engine maintenanceSupply support for
Technical Directive compliance and modificationsSupply support for
repairing, maintaining, modifying and overhauling aircraft engines
and engine modules not mounted on aircraft.Foreign Object Damage
(FOD) preventionUse Personal Protective Equipment as appropriate

(C-555-0049)Basic Qualifications:Three years' experience in supply
functions.Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift schedule if
required.Must be able work flexible work-week schedules i.e. M-F or
as required.Must be able to pass a background check.Must be able to
obtain favorable National Agency Check with Written Inquires
(NACI).Personnel required to handle Secret material must have
Secret clearanceMust be able to climb ladders, raised platforms,
and aircraft.Must be able to use hand and power tools.Must have
dexterity to handle small parts.Contractor employees are required
to possess and maintain a favorably adjudicated Tier 3 Background
Investigation (Non-Critical Sensitive/IT-II) to be authorized
unescorted access to the worksite and eligibility for issuance of a
Common Access Card (CAC). Employment is contingent on a) your
ability to provide appropriate proof of your identity and
eligibility to work in the United States; (b) your references and
any background check being satisfactory to the Company; (c) you
successfully passing a pre-employment drug test; (d) your ability
to provide proof of COVID vaccination status, (e) your ability to
get a required clearance by your effective start date, if needed,
and (f) KAI commencing performance on this contract.
