RoleThe Maintenance Leader is a key player on the Stayable
Suites team. A remarkable Maintenance Leader drives performance in
their team and throughout the property by modeling discipline,

direct the work of Maintenance Technicians and will also perform
maintenance tasks in a proactive, responsive, and efficient way.
The Maintenance Leader is a working executive that also trains and
inspires their team to deliver an exceptionally safe, clean, and

This frontline role knows the guest, the safety and cleanliness
standard, and how to efficiently complete tasks assigned daily.

company continues to grow.CompensationStarts at $18 per
hourStayable Suites strives to offer fair, equitable, and
competitive compensation to all team members. All team members

position that may occasionally allow for overtime. Maintenance
Leaders have multiple opportunities for bonuses. The hourly wage
will be adjusted based on experience, cost of living, and
contribution to the property's success.All team members may live at
any of our properties at a discounted rate for a standard
accommodation in the form of a payroll deduction. This may come
with additional after-hours responsibility, which shall be paid at
your hourly wage.ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Leaders are generally
responsible for performing preventative maintenance, responding to
service calls, and taking on larger projects as needed. Below is a
summary of primary responsibilities.Service Calls
- Respond promptly to emergencies with a sense of urgency
- Log before and after photos in the cloud/mobile ticketing
system
- Assist colleagues with heavy lifts and other team tasks
- Repair drywall, texture, paint, and basic carpentry items
- Install and remove appliances, TVs, and IT equipment
- Make standard repairs to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
systems
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in standard hotel
equipment and systemsPreventative Maintenance and Projects
- Follow checklists and assignments to maintain and improve rooms
and public spaces
- Maintain the exterior of the building if not serviced by a
contractor
- Inspect rooms for unsafe or unsanitary conditions
- Perform security tasks as needed to identify and address safety
issues
- Install and remove flooring, cabinetry, lighting and plumbing
fixtures, smoke detectors, and furniture
- Clean and service PTAC units
- Replace batteries in door locks, smoke detectors, and IoT
devices
- Work outdoors for extended periods throughout the year on
landscaping, fencing, parking lot, doors and windows, roofing, and
other repairs and improvementsStandards
- Bring your own hand tools and reliable transportation
- Proactively address safety and property condition issues
immediately when identified
- Work effectively in occupied and vacant rooms
- Keep maintenance shop and punch cart clean and tidy
- Ensure rooms and public spaces are in good repair, including
walls, flooring, and FF&E
- Train Maintenance Technicians to perform their work
efficiently
- Inspect room and property condition and coach Maintenance
Technicians as neededGeneral
- Maintain exceptional customer service when interacting with
guests
- Notify Property Manager of any safety concerns or any
violations of policy
- Implement new objectives and procedures
- Contribute to incident reports as needed
- Assist with maintaining an accurate inventory of maintenance

to guests and team

unannounced Quality Assessments and guest reviews
- Raise issues or concerns about safety, cleanliness, or property
