Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a Settlement Analyst.Responsibilities:

  In this role, the Settlement Analyst provides accurate and timely billing, analysis, and reporting services

  Develops solid understanding of settlement and accounting practices and principles
  
  
• 
  Asks questions and provide reliable and efficient customer service
  
  
• 
  Contributes to and performs the development and design of new processes and procedures
  
  
  Operational Management
  
  • 
    
  • 
    The Settlement Analyst owns the accuracy of settlement processes, monthly counterparty invoices, and client reporting
    
    
  • 
    Maintains Settlement procedures and documentation
    
    
  • 
    Generates and implements process efficiencies
    
    
  • 
    Plays a support role for internal and external audits
    
    
  • 
    Shares knowledge with other Analysts
    
    
  • 
    Initiates learning opportunities with internal departments to expand knowledge base
    
    
  • 
    Masters available technological resources to conduct settlement related duties
    
    
  • 
    Caters communication to audience confidently and effectively
    
    
  • 
    As a Settlement Analyst, this role engages actively in meetings
    
    
  • 
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or other appropriate degree; 2 years of relevant industry or accounting experience; Advanced degree is a plus
    
    
  • 
    Familiar with all Microsoft Office tools and web browsers
    
    
  • 
    ability to manage multiple projects, change priorities and be action-oriented
    
    
  • 
    Ability to adapt to dedicated computer systems
    
    
    The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
    We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
