and mileage reimbursementThe Clinical Supervisor-Behavioral is
responsible for the clinical oversight from admissions through
discharge of clients and patients receiving behavioral services.
This oversight will include functional behavior assessments and
treatment recommendations, behavior plan development, supervision
of staff and client behavioral program, ongoing monitoring of
treatment effectiveness as required by regulation or contract and
personnel management associated with the clinical delivery. The
Clinical Supervisor-Behavioral is accountable to all federal, state
and local contracts, programs, Maxim requirements, and where
applicable or required by state regulations may be the
Administrator.The Clinical Supervisor-Behavioral is also
responsible for the orientation and ongoing evaluation of
behavioral direct care staff (e.g. behavior technicians) and
assistant behavior analysts. Critical to this role is the assurance
of clinical skills and competency of behavioral direct care staff
and assistant behavior analysts. (Clinical disciplines including
but not limited to Applied Behavior Analysis, Positive Behavior
Support, and Behavioral Health Treatment). The Clinical
Supervisor-Behavioral will handle ongoing development of behavioral
direct care staff and assistant behavior analysts through education
and training under the direction of the Clinical Manager-Behavioral
or other office clinical leader.Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:Functions as a Clinical partner with respective
Business Development partnerParticipates in client engagement
through care planning and excellent customer serviceProvides
clinical oversight and case management as required by regulations
for behavioral business line with frequent daily travelConducts
functional behavior assessments and educational assessments,
accurately identifying the function of challenging behavior and
socially valid, pivotal behaviors to targetDevelops treatment plans
that recommend individualized, evidence based behavioral strategies
in a format accessible to family members, professionals, and
insurance providersProvides ongoing supervision and training of
behavioral direct care staff and assistant behavior analysts,
ensuring treatment integrity and supporting professional
growthMonitors progress and evaluates treatment effectiveness
regularly, maintaining high rates of progress. Modifies treatment
plan and strategies to meet client's needs in accordance with BACB
guidelinesDevelops strong collaborative relationships and trains
families, caregivers, and school staff to implement effective
techniques across all environments, promoting progress and
generalizationFunctions as clinical account supervisor as required
by contract (schools, corrections, etc.)Provides and ensures client
care coordination and transition management activities across the
continuumFacilitates the orientation process, competency and skills
validation process for - behavioral direct care staff and assistant
behavior analystsProvides supervised fieldwork to trainees pursuing
BCBA and BCaBA certification (or equivalent), and ongoing
supervision to RBTs and BCaBAs (or equivalent)Ensures that
competency and skill set of scheduled behavioral staff match the
client requirements regardless of settingCollaborates with the
clinical team to perform documentation reviewProvides education to
team members, patients, family members of patients behavioral field
staff, and referral sourcesDevelops behavioral direct care staff
and assistant behavior analysts through 90-day evaluations, and at
a minimum, annual feedback sessions on performance and recommended
development based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and
competenciesManages behavioral direct care staff and assistant
behavior analysts while on assignment (clinical functions);
assesses and investigates field staff concerns and issues, and
provides performance coaching, counseling and disciplinary action
when appropriateParticipates in clinical quality initiative
activitiesConducts clinical interviews and participates in hiring
decisions in collaboration with Clinical Manager-Behavioral or
other office clinical leaderRotates on-call responsibilities with
other Clinical Supervisors per a schedule established by the office
and as required by contractAccountable to all federal, state, local
contracts and programs, and Maxim requirementsWhere applicable or
required by state regulations the Clinical Supervisor may be the
AdministratorPerforms other duties as assignedMinimum
Requirements:Active license or certification in good standing in
behavioral field (e.g. Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed
Behavior Analyst) when applicable by stateAt least two years of
experience in applied behavior analysis fieldOther
behavioral/mental health license or certification may be considered
if paired with at least 3 years of experience in applied behavior
analysis (e.g. Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, Licensed
Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), when
allowed by state or programMust meet all federal, state, local
contract and program requirements, in addition to internal
certifications and training, as requiredExcellent written and
verbal communication skillsDemonstrated critical thinking
skillsSupervisory and behavioral assessment experience
preferredExperience providing behavioral services to toddlers,
children, and adults preferredExperience in quality management
preferredProficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office
