• Competitive SalaryJob DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a seasoned Building Automation Technician to join our dynamic team in a permanent role. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the design, installation, and maintenance of building automation systems (BAS) across our construction projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician with a strong background in HVAC, Controls, and Building Automation Systems (BAS) to work with state-of-the-art technology and contribute to the creation of smart, energy-efficient buildings.Responsibilities:
  • Design, program, and commission building automation and control systems using software such as Tridium Niagara, Honeywell Spider Tool, Alerton, Metasys, Desigo, and Ecostruxure.
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain devices for building automation systems, including HVAC controls, digital controls, and energy management systems (EMS).
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of building automation systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to integrate building automation systems into the overall building design.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and other team members.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in building automation technology and make recommendations for system upgrades and improvements.Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building automation systems.
    • Proven expertise in HVAC, Controls, BAS, BMS, and related technologies.
    • Proficiency in software such as Tridium Niagara, Honeywell Spider Tool, Alerton, Metasys, Desigo, and Ecostruxure.
    • Familiarity with manufacturers like Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Belimo, etc.
    • Experience with digital controls, DDC, EMS, CCTV, and other building automation technologies.
    • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Must be comfortable working in a construction environment and able to adhere to safety standards.
