Position Type : Full time Type Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired : Bachelor of Computer ScienceJob DescriptionFIS Management Services, LLC seeks Programmer Analyst Specialists-Government Solutions in Jacksonville, FL to understand and analyze business requirements provided by various US State agencies and US DA (FNS). Provide solutions for government programs such as food stamps, cash, and childcare benefits to various states across the United States. Design and develop microservices for FIS proprietary ebtEdge.com utilized by different state agencies. Act as process subject matter expert in ebtEDGE.com, EBT Cardholder REST APIs for web and mobile applications. Provide technical and design solutions for creating different microservices. Implement security fixes on FIS proprietary ebtEDGE.com. Develop new web modules/functionalities for ebtEDGE--- per customizations requested by state governments. Develop aspects of the FIS proprietary ebtEDGE product including detailed technical design, coding, testing, problem analysis and problem resolutions. Develop SOAP and REST web services for different states. Work closely with Quality Control and Configuration Management teams to install and implement various applications and ensure applications are quality controlled and error free. Identify areas of performance improvement on application platforms and work with various enterprise teams to implement performance improvement strategies. Mentor new development team members on projects, products, and technical processes including production problem resolution. Coordinate with technical and business teams to clarify technical and business-related questions for given projects. Assist with application support team to help fixing production issues. Utilize tools and technologies including Java, Spring boot microservices, Hibernate, Spring, Struts, Oracle DB, H2 DB, Elastic Search DB, Apache Artemis Server, and Kakfa.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology or related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: analyzing requirements and translating business requirements into product designs; writing technical specifications; performing full stack development for web applications and microservices; designing and developing Microservices to provide high scalability and availability required for highly reliable, high-performance applications; developing and maintaining Java and Spring based high performance distributed systems; utilizing Stream processing, OLTP (Online Transaction Processing ) processing, and other highly performant database systems; working with business units to understand and refine business requirements and create architecture diagrams and design high quality technical solutions; and designing, developing and maintaining reusable application components and subsystems for web platforms, micro services, and event driven streaming platforms.
