The primary role of the Corporate Analytics Analyst is to analyze
and interpret marketing data to support the Company's marketing
strategy Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret marketing data to support Swisher's
marketing strategy
- Generate standard or custom reports to provide sales and
marketing insights, market conditions, and competitive and adult
consumer performance data to key stakeholders in our Tobacco and
Adjacency groups
- Collect and monitor various marketing metrics to track the
performance of marketing initiatives and summarize insights to
inform management
- Analyze competitive strategies, identify and monitor changing
competitive patterns, and recommend responses
- Identify strategic issues and research requirements for
existing and new tobacco/adjacency business opportunities
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and evaluate the
effectiveness of various business initiatives to determine the
degree of success attained and present findings and conclusions to
management
- Assist in developing marketing strategies by providing
proprietary and third-party data tools insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing,
sales and innovation, to support strategic initiatives
- Maintain knowledge of competitor strategies, industry trends,
and consumer preferences to identify marketing opportunities or
strategy improvement Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer
Science, Data Science, or related field
- 1 year of analytics or digital analytics (Google/Adobe
Analytics or PowerBI) experience
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to independently validate and
cross-reference data and analyses; precise attention to detail
- Proficient in creating PowerPoint presentations and able to use
Excel to create vlookups, xlookups, pivot tables, etc.
- Possess strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills as
well as possess the ability to work in large data sets and
databases
- Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, analyze, problem solve,
collaborate in a team environment, meet client deadlines, and
function well with a high level of independence, initiative, and
resourcefulness
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work
independently and within a team environment is critical
- Self-motivated and willing to support and assist fellow team
members whenever needed, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared
