SUMMARY OF JOB:

We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst with Agile experience to plan and lead the execution of tasks primarily within the Analysis and Testing phases of IT software development initiatives. This role must have exceptional documentation skills as he or she will be responsible for creating high quality artifacts throughout the SDLC such as scope documents, user stories, BRDs, business process flows, architectural diagrams, designs documents, wireframes, test strategies, test plans and presentations. The Sr BA will be accountable for some of these documents and provide key input for others. This role must build strong partnerships across the organization, learn the business practices, and be able to solve complicated business problems with technology solutions. The Sr BA must be a team player, have strong communication skills and have a "can-do" attitude. Creativity, attention to detail and leadership are must-have soft skills for the role. The Sr BA will work with senior leadership across the company and will be expected to have excellent communication skills. Having worked on multiple IT software development projects as the BA and QA is required. Will primarily work on CRM and financial systems (Dynamics 365 and Great Plains).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

--- Define BA and QA project tasks and schedules

--- Work multiple projects simultaneously

--- Foster partnership with customers/stakeholders/sponsors

--- Performing requirements analysis to obtain knowledge to design system functionality

--- Document detailed descriptions of internal and end user needs, program functions and business rules required to develop new system capabilities

--- Develop test plans, identify and create test cases to conduct system and user testing Conduct in depth research to resolve problems related to internal (to our company) and external (client) screen design, program, process functionality, interfaces, and data structure issues

--- Ability to create/run SQL queries for testing or research is a plus

--- Must be deadline oriented and driven by satisfying both technical and customer requirements

--- Creativity and ability to offer solutions when analyzing problems or resolving issues

--- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and embracing change

--- Understand business needs, processes and concepts to formulate clear and thorough requirements.

--- Responsible for developing, distributing, supporting, enforcing and integrating best BA and QA practices and standards across the organization

--- Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.

--- Designs, modifies, develops and writes requirements and specifications of software programming applications

--- Follows established standards as well as software development and project management lifecycles.

--- Perform analysis and research along with assist in cost management

--- Assists the project team with various design, development, and implementation tasks related requirements and testing deliverables

--- Help the team manage and create and manage documentation across IT

--- Assists with IT budget management, plan and forecast.

--- Assists with IT capitalization process, tracking and reporting

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

--- Bachelor's degree in a related area required

--- 5 or more years as a business analyst or quality assurance analyst for software development teams

--- BA and QA certifications are preferred.

--- General understanding of SQL and SQL Reporting

--- MS Project experience a plus

--- Previous usage of a project management system such as Azure DevOps, JIRA or VersionOne to create epics, manage backlog, and plan sprints is a plus

--- Experience in CRM implementation and migration desired (Salesforce or Dynamics CRM)

--- Ability to work seamlessly within a team as well as manage individual tasks.

--- Familiarity with requirements gathering techniques is preferred.

--- Ability to conduct meetings with various departments for the purposes of gathering dependencies and agreement across user groups

--- Ability to manage all aspects of Agile Software Development Lifecycle

--- Knowledge of CRM systems to include marketing and sales functionality

--- Skilled in working across business units to integrate information and processes
