Duties and Responsibilities: The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate all aspects of his/her reservations, as well as learn/master all systems related to including reservation system and any CRM system. This person will also work with other team members and support their reservations. All duties include must be done while assuring the highest level of customer service. Must use good communication, selling, interpersonal and organizational skills and manage others to these company standards as assigned. Other responsibilities are, but not limited to the following: * Solicits new and existing business to meet/exceed revenue goals. Methods of sales may include but are not limited to telephone solicitation and written correspondence * Create and update reservations and quotes from system or customer proposals and itineraries. * Meet and exceed sales objectives as set forth by management * Maintain pipeline and summarize results to management as required using Salesforce * Maintains a thorough understanding of golf operations, tee-sheet maximization, golf maintenance Book tee times, hotel reservations in accordance with client contracts schedules and client needs, key vendor relationships and the tools they offer to support and manage goals * Must be able to describe the product offerings, hotel, amenities, golf course, and highlight the features Maintains the ability to understand golf course & hotel inventory during different times of year, to maximize revenue with clients * Coordinates travel details for Priceless travel packages as well as other Group and Leisure vacations * Collect all funds from clients in accordance with payment schedule per company policy * Maintain under 5% call abandon rate as company standard as call center representative * Use Company scripts when handling calls as guidelines meeting partner standards for introducing self, presenting brand and products and accolades, and throughout the call, including closing and thanking the caller and setting follow up. * Communicate with team on "loose ends" when not in the office and even daily for effective handling of all "loose ends" * Track commissions * Improve/enhance current systems/procedures as it relates to specific department needs * Utilize project check lists, etc. * Use contact management consistently, improve upon it * Generate Monthly reports for leads, ROI and closing ratios * Handle all invoice disputes same day or next business day * Proactive Management of Client Relations and opportunities * Ability to work remotely and independently with little or no supervision * No direct reports Qualifications and Characteristics:To perform this job successfully an individual must possess the following qualifications, skills, and personal characteristics:* Sports minded individual with a passion for Golf * 3-5 years previous experience in sales, customer service, call center or equivalent experience in related field * Previous hospitality experience preferred * Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. * Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with a diverse clientele and partner associates * Advanced computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Strong negotiation and time management skills * Articulate, exceptional presentation skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Deadline and very detail-oriented * Knowledge of EZ Links and Salesforce applications are helpful * Strong analytical skills * Effective problem solver, who takes ownership, must possess strong analysis and judgment skills. * Strong attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills * Proactive Positive attitude and teamwork * Project positive attitude, professional demeanor, and dress. Cultivates and supports teamwork with a "will do" spirit. * Project a positive and professional attitude to both external contacts and company employees. * Be perceived as "approachable" by others and take initiative to improve the overall attitude and/or reduce any perceived stress with the company when possible. * Must be self-directed and seen by others as trustworthy, confident, and self-assured. * Provide assistance to departmental staff and other company employees without hesitation or prompting. * Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm * Team player with ability to develop excellent relationships with trade professionals, vendors, and staff * Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees of the organization * Excellent problem-solving skills, planning and ability to make sound decisions quickly. * Ability to work independently, prioritizes, be proactive and take initiative * Comply with all rules and policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook. * Other duties as assigned. * Positive, friendly, and energetic attitude; dependable. * Ability to quickly establish and maintain inspiring relationships with Clients, prospects, partner properties and their teams. * Basic accounting functions (process invoices), work as liaison with Corporate Office making sure invoices are approved, scanned, and sent for processing within set timelines. * Ability to interact with high profile clients and prospects. * Ability to understand financial reports including budgetary guidelines and project expenditures. * Must be willing to work extended hours as workload may demand from time to time. * Must always be discreet with things of a confidential nature.
