Our vision is to optimize patient outcomes, minimize time spent in the operating room, and enhance overall efficiency of surgical workflows. By leveraging our expertise in software development, clinical science, as well as state-of-the-art data science and ML/AI tools, we are conceptualizing, prototyping, and ultimately developing a connected practice and operating room solution. • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop and implement data integration solutions for ophthalmology clinics and surgical sites.
• Design and develop data pipelines to pull together and merge data from various sources, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and medical devices used in cataract and refractive surgeries.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from disparate sources and ensure data quality and integrity during the integration process.
• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data processing workflows using appropriate tools and technologies.
• Implement data governance practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA, to secure patient data privacy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data integration solutions.
• Optimize data models and structures to support data analysis, reporting, and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Perform data profiling and data quality assessment, identifying and resolving data quality issues.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to data integration, data engineering, and healthcare data standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data infrastructure and systems are in place to support data. integration and processing needs.
• Document data integration processes, workflows, and technical specifications for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.\r\r
