Job Description:

This position will independently manage a variety of research projects to instill understanding of consumer dynamics into marketing strategy development and elevate the level of insights for the organization. The position will manage ongoing research and insights needs of the core business and growth brands and bring a visionary perspective to the organization to guide us into the future.

--- Develop, budget, execute, and present findings for various projects that deliver consumer and market insights to guide marketing strategy, enhance consumer engagement and identify growth opportunities for the business
--- Design and manage market research programs, both qualitative and quantitative, including brand tracking, category tracking, consumer usage, attitude studies, ad testing, product testing, fieldwork, and ethnographies
--- Learn and utilize Swisher's quantitative research platform to design, program and launch surveys in a timely and cost-effective manner.
--- Collaborate with multiple departments to identify research needs and create highly engaging consumer-centric brands.
--- Direct pre-launch concept and product testing, validation, and post launch performance tracking to optimize the portfolio and establish a foundation of benchmarks for success.
--- Analyze multiple sources of research and information for trends and actionable insights to guide marketing strategy and growth opportunities
--- Oversee planning and recommendations, budgets, manage suppliers, optimize processes, and evaluate new opportunities and tools that add insight value to the organization.
--- Responsible for the process and platform for delivery of monthly flash reports and project summaries to the organization.

--- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Research, Psychology or related field. Masters Degree strongly preferred
--- 7+ years' experience in market research and consumer insights, preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
--- Experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, including MaxDiff, Conjoint, TURF, focus groups, 1:1 interviews, diary studies, ethnographies, shopper studies, simulated test markets.
--- Proficient in Microsoft Office ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
--- Travel up to 20% required

--- Experience with self-service quantitative survey tools and syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen)
--- Excellent project management, organization, and prioritization skills
--- Ability to collaborate and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, team members, subordinate(s) and suppliers.
--- Strategic thinker with experience interpreting multiple points of data, identifying the trends and insights story to provide relevant recommendations
--- Effective problem solving, analytical, storytelling, communication, and interpersonal skills.

--- May be sitting and/or using computers for prolonged periods of time
