Florida is recruiting for an experienced Dosimetry Technical
Assistant for our busy Radiation Department. Under the supervision
of Chief Medical Dosimetrist, this position requires the ability to
do contouring (normal structures) in CT images, and promote the
implementation of the treatment plans for radiation therapy
patients. Travel will be required to all locations that provide
Radiation services to our patients currently and in the future.
Essential duties and responsibilities under guidance of a Chief
Medical Dosimetrist include the following: Obtain patient contours
and assist in outlining of anatomical structures and the target
volume in three dimensions. Perform record keeping and
documentation of treatment parameters for all patients undergoing
radiation therapy. Responsible for entry of treatment parameters in
the record/verify system. Performs work in accordance with
policies, procedures and standards. All other related duties in
accordance with department policies. Full-time position Clinic
locations in Jacksonville, Fleming Island and Saint Augustine, FL
Education and/or Experience: High school graduate Compensation and
